Nghia (Neil) Dinh, University of Massachusetts, Boston

Nghia (Neil) Dinh

Neil Dinh is a philosophy major in his second year at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. When he is not reading or talking about a confusing matter (or just talking confusingly), he is usually enjoying the sun as he wonders which movie he should be seeing that day.

Kristena Strout, Husson University, Maine

Kristena Strout

Kristena Strout is studying marketing communications at Husson University in Maine. She is highly involved on her campus by being part of the cheerleading squad, public relations society of america, secretary of the art club, and a member of crusaders for christ (CRU). She is hoping to market a healthy lifestyle through being a member of the SH101 Advisory Board.

Sarah Nicole Henderson, University of New Mexico

Sarah Nicole Henderson

Sarah Nicole Henderson is a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of New Mexico. She is majoring in biochemistry and english, and is a licensed EMT. She would like to pursue a career as a physician assistant: "As a future PA I would like to ultimately work in the primary care setting to see and treat patients so that they can resume life, while also work to educate them about and prevent the furthering of epidemics like diabetes, heart disease, and obesity."

Megan Mattox, University of Massachusetts, Boston

Megan Mattox

Megan Mattox is a third year undergraduate at University of Massachusetts, Boston studying exercise and health science. She enjoys staying active outside the traditional gym setting through swimming, dancing, yoga, and long walks on the beach. She hopes to one day be able to share her passion for living an active lifestyle with the world.

Eve Dorsey, University of Massachusetts, Amherst

Eve Dorsey

Eve Dorsey is a second-year undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Eve is majoring in communications and considering a minor in psychology. She also plans on achieving an interdepartmental certificate in film studies by graduation. Eve ultimately hopes to find a career in the field of film & television production.

Kerry Johnson, University of Colorado at Boulder

Kerry Johnson

Kerry Johnson is in her fourth year at the University of Colorado, Boulder studying English. When she's not desperately trying to find a way to sneak back into freshman year and do it all over again, she's cooking, hiking and camping all around Colorado.

Reza Wang-Lotfi, New Jersey Institute of Technology

Reza Wang-Lotfi

Reza Wang-Lotfi is a second-year undergraduate majoring in biology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is focusing on pre-medicine and hopes to be a medical doctor one day. He also works as a first-year student orientation leader and enjoys making positive impacts on people.

Wengang Xia, Rutgers University, New Jersey

Wengang Xia

Wengang Xia is a fourth-year undergraduate at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He is serving as a volunteer American football coach in his home country of China. He is hoping that his involvement in the SH101 Advisory Board will represent a multicultural perspective and help him establish a student health program in China.

Jie Zhao, University of Massachusetts, Amherst

Jie Zhao

Jie Zhao is a third-year undergraduate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst studying public health and economics. She wishes to have a career in health policy & management in the future. During her free time, she likes to go on road trips, take pictures, and try out new restaurants.

Taylor Rugg, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, New York

Taylor Rugg

Taylor Elizabeth Rugg is completing her undergraduate degree at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York. She is double majoring in writing & rhetoric and war, and war, warfare & the soldier experience. She works as a writing fellow and study mentor on campus. In addition to being a part of the Student Advisory Board for SH101, she is a poetry editor for the online literary magazine Persephone's Daughter.

Amy Nielsen, Western Washington University

Amy Nielsen

Amy Nielsen is attending Western Washington University where she is studying dance, marketing, and communications. Always caring for others, SH101 has helped her to care for herself. On the Student Advisory Board, she hopes to encourage all students to care for others and themselves: "Share your soul soaring free from your heartbeat, a rhythm only you can keep."

Savannah de Luca, Michigan Technological University

Savannah de Luca

Savannah de Luca is a second-year undergraduate at Michigan Technological University. She is majoring in applied ecology and environmental science, minoring in French, and earning a certificate in global technological leadership. In her free time, Savannah enjoys playing soccer, hockey, and tennis.

Caitlin Walsh, Northern Illinois University

Caitlin Walsh

Caitlin Walsh is studying psychology, sociology, and criminology at Northern Illinois University. After graduation in May of 2016, Catlin and her guide dog Arthur have plans to attend law school.

Sonya Mendoza, Northern Illinois University

Sonya Mendoza

Sonya Mendoza is a third-year undergraduate at Northern Illinois University majoring in biological sciences within the pre-medical program. She is from the urban depths of Chicago and is passionate about mingling with the community and her friends and family. Sonya's hobbies include traveling, yoga, and painting.

Joe Kasper, Governors State University, Illinois

Joe Kasper

Joe Kasper is entering his fourth year at Governors State University in Illinois. He is majoring in communication with a concentration in advertising and public relations. Joe hopes to one day be Don Draper from Mad Men and sip cocktails at a beach house in South Carolina. He also likes animals, video games, and free samples.
